I know you may be thinking, "Why am I letting him completely tear up my pantry?". I'll tell you why. It's still easier to pick up the pantry mess in the evening, when the kids are asleep then try to cook dinner w/ him on my hip. So, he tears up the pantry (and looks REALLY guilty).

Nope, it doesn't surprise me one bit. You've always let your kids have fun and then you deal with it later. NOT something I've ever come close to mastering. But the real question is.. what does AAB think of the destruction he causes to her wonderful organizing? There's no way you put it back organized knowing he's going to do it again in a matter of hours?!!!
I used to let Tyler do exactly the same thing with while I made dinner. I also "gave him" one drawer in the kitchen with chip clips and stuff he could play with.
The "place for everything & everything in its place" AAB cringes when she sees these type of pics! :) However, she thinks Meg is one of the best mothers she's ever met because Meg has always been able to focus on what's really important in life!
