Here she is......DR. PURNIMA! Our love...our home away from home....
We absolutely adore her. And, since we are there ALL THE TIME, it's good to love her. So, we were back to see her today. Today is day 2 of keeping Owen home from school and day 4 of complaining of a sore throat and headache and ear pain (the ear pain just started today). His fever was only 100.1 last night and he was 99.3 this AM. So, he didn't really have a fever, but I kept him home anyway and decided to take him in.
Parenting mistake #657,933: Owen has strep throat and an ear infection. OOPS! Guess I should have taken him in a few days ago....
Henry leaps out of my arms to go to take Dr. Purnima ALWAYS. When we're in the waiting room and he hears her voice, he gets super excited. I love this photo of the two of them.
But, Owen didn't get started on antibiotics until this afternoon. (Wegman's has FREE antibiotics until the end of March - I'll be getting a lot of use out of that offer). This means that he won't be able to go to school tomorrow either. And, it's supposed to be super cold on Thursday and Friday. It will be just my luck that school will be canceled on those days and Owen will have been out of school all week.
