After the big ceremony, we joined our friends, The Kantak's for ice cream. This area stinks for ice cream. There's no where around us for good (think Bobby's or Cold Stone) ice cream. Anything good is either in a mall or a distance away. It really puts a damper on post celebration - summer - ice cream. So, we got ice cream at Bryne Dairy, which is like a convenient mart w/ an ice cream shop at the side. Pathetic, huh? But, the ice cream isn't all bad AND it isn't expensive. I guess that's the upside, eh?

too funny. i miss bryne dairy and the cheapo mom and pop ice cream stands. down here the only choices you have are coldstone, marble slab,maggie moo's $5 cones! i'm too cheap to pay that price for an ice cream that never gets half eaten by the girls
