caterpillars were so hardy? Emmett found these 12 caterpillars at the park and they are still alive today! 8 days later! I was seriously hoping that they would meet their demise many days before since Emmett carries them everywhere and sleeps next to them at night. GAG! We can't let them go, because they're the kind of caterpillars that eat trees. That's all we need.....

You got a bug boy now, eh? Too funny! Em looks much more grown up in these last photos- his face shape is changing or maybe just not as young-looking (chubby). Five is on the way!
I can tell you're just as excited about all of the little critters as I am. We found another frog the other night, the kids chased it, held it, then Shane said, "OK, time to tell the frog bye-bye...night night frog." and as we started to away Wyatt runs back dramatically and picks it up and gives it a kiss on top of the head. seriously. a little too much nature for me. :) it was cute, though.
