Banana Baby

IMG_4240, originally uploaded by megan bauer.

After many repeated efforts, Henry is still not a fan of baby food. Anyone else have this problem? He doesn't mind baby cereal (although, I wouldn't say he's thrilled w/ it), but if I mix it w/ any baby food he's done. Recently, I've been cooking vegetables (not a fan) and trying different fruits. He seems to think bananas are OK. Suggestions?

ellie didn't abandon baby food until 10 months, but at that time she was old enough for finger food - frozen chopped veggies, cheese, chopped fruit, etc. does he have the ability to feed himself that way yet? if not, just keep trying the baby food. he won't starve. he'll eat as much as he needs. perhaps the all night cafe is the reason he doesn't feel the need to eat baby food?

Do you have one of those net feeder things? I am sure that is the correct term for them, but you put our foods inside them and they are able to chew on it...do you know what I mean? I can explain more later, but my girls both really liked them before they were old enough to have finger foods.
