Owen's signature move

As most of you already know, Owen is COMPLETELY soccer crazy. My mom is fairly certain that his love of soccer borders on being obsessive. Anyway, I tallied up the hours for the week and Owen will spend 22 hours this week playing structured soccer (i.e. soccer camp, practices, and games). Add on at least another 5-10 hours of unstructured play (i.e. in the backyard) and that's enough to be considered a full time job. The crazy part is that for him that's still not enough time. He could spend all day, every day, playing or watching soccer. He knows every team on every league and all of their players. He know soccer history, facts, and random information (i.e. what year did Beckham stop playing for ManU?). He's read tons of soccer books and he spends his inside time watching the soccer channel or playing soccer on the Wii. Beckham was on 60 Minutes last night and I DVR'ed it. Owen has watched it and re-watched it at least 4 times today. His obsession...I mean love....has been going strong for almost 2 years now (it started at 5 years and 10 months). I used to think it would pass, and now I'm not so sure. All the super famous soccer stars have signature moves, and Owen has decided it's time to start working on his. Watch in the video as he kicks the ball one way and goes around to shoot and score. Owen Bauer's signature move.

Go Owen! He'd be right at home here in Melbourne - they are sports NUTS and soccer is one of their faves. I think the Australian National team is called the Socceroos.
