Owen had his first rehearsal tonight and OMG! What a commitment! I'm really so not prepared for this. He is practicing 3-4 times a week, which is not fun enough. But, the worst part is that he is practicing most nights until 10 PM! For example, the week of my c/s he is practicing 4 out of 5 week nights until 10 pm. The WEEK OF MY C/S!!!! It's a half hour drive over there. Tiny Tim can't stay up until 11 pm 4 out of 5 school nights. Oh, what am I going to do?????
Side note......he came out of rehearsal tonight (his first, remember?) saying that was AWESOME! He said, "we just sang songs the whole time." It was great! So, I guess the good news is that he loves it. (and that it will all be over in 6 weeks :))

For someone that was up late last night he sure was chipper in the van this morning on the way to school! :) Thank God your child doesn't require a lot of sleep or it could be worse. Like I said on the phone last night...I can help ya out however you need me to that week of your c-section. Whether it be staying with Emmett or helping out with driving Owen to his rehearsals...just say the word!! It will all work out..it always does! :)
YIKES! This is not an ideal situation to say the least BUT you've got a lot going for you: the excitement of it all, the help of great friends, and the fact that six weeks will fly by! Thank goodness!
