Big Truck Show

Yesterday we took the kids to the "BIG TRUCK" show. It's a fundraiser for a local preschool (I know, I know quite the fundraiser. Emmett's preschool sells candles.). Anyway, we've taken the boys three years in a row now and they talk about it all year. It's in rock quarry and there are many, many "big trucks" of all kinds. The kids get to climb in them and honk the horns, etc. (think LOUD, very LOUD!). The weather was gorgeous and it was a great day. One BIG added bonus was the water stream the kids found. Emmett and Evelyn had a blast running through it and getting dirty. Owen played frisbee over the water stream w/ Eddie. He's about to the age were getting dirty is no longer fun. A lot of parents were looking at us a little funny for letting the kids get completely drenched and dirty. Hmmm....what's the problem in a little fun?

That seems like a GREAT activity! I need a day like that! Made me think back to our Boulder day trip with the fountains for some reason. It's soooo you to let the kids go crazy and get wet and messy! I love it! And that's nuts Owen doesn't dig getting dirty! You're never too old for that, are you? A little bit like him not liking stickers and tatoos, eh?
