Owen as Otis Bigelow

Owen's class put on a wonderful wax museum. Each child in the class was given a different prominent figure in either United States history or Baldwinsville/Syracuse history. Owen was Otis Bigelow, the first store owner in Baldwinsville history.

He did such a great job. He researched Otis Bigelow and wrote a speech about him. Parents and the different classes in the school went through the wax museum. Each child had a red button in front of them, and when it was pushed, they had to say their speech. Then, when their speech was done, they froze again - as in a wax museum. (I stood in front of Owen, and pressed the button 3 x in a row before he broke character, and screamed, "MOM!")

Oh - and Owen's teacher told me that when Owen walked into the room he came right over to her and said, "This is the nicest you will ever see me dressed!". I believe it. That's why I had to take so many pictures!

Just awesome! Soooo funny he hates to dress up! Diego still loves to put on his 'Sunday best'!
